My first ever made Start Orb for Windows 7, this orb is based on SAO (Sword Art Online) Anime interface and the .zip includes PNG image if you have a Star Orb Creator, the PSD file if you want to make mods, the BMP file for using it directly without moding.

this is soo awesome i the only thing i wish you added that i havent seen in the comments is a sound from SAO when you click the start idk if its possible but that would be a nice feature

Hey I think Windows 8 does not have start orb so It's possible you can't get one to work and the program I use to make start orbs is Photoshop and then I use the start orb creator from Door2windows website. [link]

There's an easy tutorial in that page but mostly you need to have three orbs so you can convert them.
By the way I'm using Windows 8 and I don't know if theres is a start orb but I believe it does not have one, maybe another types of customization can be done. Greetings hope this is what you where asking for.

Thanks for your comment, I have seen what you are saying and I'm gonna try to improve the quality of the Orb. I think I know what the problem is and I think how I can fix it.

its great and i love it but the compression looks terrible
might have to go in and see what i can do about that with the included psd
